Josh Tobin

Josh Tobin is a Naval Architect with 15 years of international experience in ship design and construction. He studied at the Marine Institute and Memorial University in St. John’s, Canada, and has contributed to commercial and government builds in Canada, Europe, Asia, and the United States.

At Waterline Design, Josh leads multidisciplinary teams through all phases of engineering—basic, functional, and production. He thrives in high-speed environments and works closely with clients to ensure every deliverable meets spec, schedule, and scope.

Josh joined Waterline Design in 2025 to help the team expand its technical depth, particularly in steel ship design and systems integration.
